Massimo Biagioni, director of Confesercenti Toscana, has dedicated himself to the writing of local and territorial history for some time. He is a publicist journalist and presented various social, political and economical editorial initiatives. Many successful publications were born thanks to these experiences. Amongst his last volumes with Pagnini e Martinelli editors were: Pietro Caiani. Il Sindaco Galantuomo (2002) and Scarpe rotte eppur bisogna andar. Fatti e persone della resistenza in Mugello e Val di Sieve (2004). In 2006, he received the “Scrittore toscano dell’anno” award (Tuscan writer of the year) from the Consiglio Regionale della Toscana (Regional Council of Tuscany).
