Anna De Simone

Anna De Simone was born in 1937 in Milan, where she still lives. She taught Italian and Latin in high school for more than thirty years, while dedicating herself to fiction and contemporary poetry and their diffusion in schools through the organization of days of studies, poetry readings, conferences and the publishing of poetry and fiction “yearbooks” and “notebooks”. She edited a biography of the poet Biagio Marin which included an introduction written by Franco Brevini, and multiple texts of the series “I Grandi Poeti del Sole-24 Ore”. She published the volume Case di poeti with the publisher Mauro Pagliai in 2012 and many texts for the secondary school with the editors Bompiani e Le Monnier, as well as writing reviews and studies on poetry in diverse journals.
