Pippo Baudo
Giuseppe Raimondo Vittorio Baudo è nato a Militello in Val
di Catania il 7 giugno 1936.
Laureato in Legge, già da studente comincia a frequentare il
mondo dello spettacolo come attore e come presentatore, studia pianoforte e
alla fine degli anni Cinquanta entra come pianista e cantante nell’orchestra
Moon Light con cui fa la sua prima apparizione televisiva nel 1959. Da allora
non ha mai abbandonato il palcoscenico televisivo se non per brevissimi
periodi. Ha condotto tutti più importanti varietà della Rai, dal mitico
Settevoci fino al recente Serata d’onore. Ha condotto per 13 volte il Festival
di Sanremo.
Giuseppe Raimondo Vittorio Baudo was born in Militello in
Val di Catania on the seventh of June 1936.
Graduatede in
Legge, already ad a student he began attending the show world as actor and host.
He studied pianoforte, and at the end of the 50s entered as a pianist and
singer in the Moon Light orchestra, with which he will made his first TV appearance
in 1959. From this moment, he never left the television stage if not for small
periods of time. He has conducted all the most important RAI variety shows,
from the legendary Settevoci to the recent Serata d'onore. He has hosted the
Sanremo Festival 13 times.
