Federico Mazzocchi (1988) graduated in Italian Studies and then in Modern Philology at the University of Florence. He has translated and edited works from English (Katherine Mansfield, Oscar Wilde, G. K. Chesterton, Rudyard Kipling, Rita Dove) and French (Charles Juliet). For the translation of The Ballad of Reading Gaol by Oscar Wilde (Passigli, 2011) he received the honorable mention at the Prize "City of Monselice” 2012 for Literary Translation. As literary critic, he writes or has written for literary journals (“Microprovincia”, “Istmi”, “Bloc-Notes”, “Poesia”, “Caffè Michelangiolo”) and for the cultural pages of the newspaper “L’Osservatore Romano”. He also works as a editor.
Since 2015 he is the director of the series «Biblioteca di Letteratura» of the publisher Mauro Pagliai (Polistampa).
