Anna De Simone

Anna De Simone, nata nel 1937 a Milano dove vive, ha insegnato italiano e latino per oltre trent’anni in un liceo classico della sua città, dedicandosi nello stesso tempo alla narrativa e alla poesia contemporanee e alla loro diffusione nelle scuole attraverso l’organizzazione di giornate di studio, letture di poesia, convegni, pubblicazioni di Annuari e di Quaderni di poesia e narrativa (Principato). Ha curato una biografia del poeta Biagio Marin con prefazione di Franco Brevini (L’isola Marin, Liviana 1992) e diversi testi della collana “I Grandi Poeti del Sole-24 Ore”, ha pubblicato con le edizioni Mauro Pagliai il volume Case di poeti (2012). Autrice di testi per la scuola media superiore presso gli editori Bompiani e Le Monnier, collabora con recensioni e studi sulla poesia a varie riviste («Caffè Michelangiolo», «Diverse Lingue», «Poesia», «Semicerchio», «Studi Mariniani»).

Anna De Simone was born in 1937 in Milan, where she still lives. She taught Italian and Latin in high school for more than thirty years, while dedicating herself to fiction and contemporary poetry and their diffusion in schools through the organization of days of studies, poetry readings, conferences and the publishing of poetry and fiction “yearbooks” and “notebooks”. She edited a biography of the poet Biagio Marin which included an introduction written by Franco Brevini, and multiple texts of the series “I Grandi Poeti del Sole-24 Ore”. She published the volume Case di poeti with the publisher Mauro Pagliai in 2012 and many texts for the secondary school with the editors Bompiani e Le Monnier, as well as writing reviews and studies on poetry in diverse journals.
